Cam Contractors Inc. is owned and operated by Chuck Melton, a native of Fayetteville, NC. Chuck’s wife Jane Ellen is also a native of Fayetteville, NC and shares in ownership. The name CAM is derived in honor of Chuck’s father Charles Alvin Melton. Cam has been in operation on Ft Bragg, NC since 2009 and has steadily grown in the past ten years and has finished well over 100 projects ranging from $5,000.00 to $500,000. Cam performs turnkey Vacant Quarters Maintenance. We revitalize barracks consistently and with little GC oversight.
We supply all material, labor, and equipment. Provide our own submittals and are experienced working with DPW or the Corp. Cam performs commercial renovations of offices, warehouses, medical facilities, gyms, banks and any other government building. We perform interior demo, metal stud framing, drywall, paint, ceilings, div 10, flooring, everything except Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Most disciplines accomplished in house. Cam performs metal stud framing, drywall, act, paint, division 10 and other miscellaneous disciplines for ground up construction. With a focus on framing, drywall, and painting. We provide experience and well liked superintendents and foremen. Our staff is trained in OPSEC, Level One Awareness, EM385 fall protection competent person, OSHA, Equipment operation, First aid-CPR/blood borne pathogens. Employees are screened when they get a base pass.
